Last updated: March 17, 2024
Playpromocode respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users of its platform to do the same. This Digital Millennium Copyright Act Policy outlines the procedures for reporting claims of copyright infringement and how Playpromocode responds to such claims.
1. Overview
In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act and other applicable intellectual property laws, Playpromocode will respond to notices of alleged copyright infringement that comply with applicable law and are properly submitted to our designated copyright agent. If you believe that content available on or through our platform infringes one or more of your copyrights, please submit a written notice that includes the information described below.
2. Filing a DMCA Notice
To submit a valid copyright infringement notification, please provide our designated agent with a written communication that includes all of the following elements:
- A physical or electronic signature of the person authorised to act on behalf of the owner of the copyright interest that is alleged to have been infringed.
- Identification of the copyrighted work or works that you claim have been infringed. If multiple works are covered by a single notification, a representative list of such works is acceptable.
- Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing or to be the subject of infringing activity, and information reasonably sufficient to permit us to locate the material on our platform, such as the URL or specific page location.
- Information reasonably sufficient to permit us to contact you, including your name, postal address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or applicable law.
- A statement that the information in the notification is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorised to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.

- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material that has been removed or to which access has been disabled, and the location at which the material appeared before it was removed or access was disabled.

- Your name, address, and telephone number.
- A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the courts in the location where Playpromocode operates and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original infringement notification or an agent of such person.
Upon receipt of a valid counter-notification, Playpromocode will forward it to the original complaining party. If the original complainant does not notify us within ten (10) business days that they have filed a court action seeking an order to restrain the allegedly infringing activity, we may restore the removed material at our sole discretion.
5. Repeat Infringer Policy
Playpromocode maintains a strict policy regarding repeat infringers. In appropriate circumstances, and at our sole discretion, we will terminate the accounts of users who are determined to be repeat infringers of third-party intellectual property rights.
6. Misrepresentation
Please be aware that applicable law may impose liability for damages, including costs and legal fees, on any person who knowingly and materially misrepresents that material or activity is infringing, or that material or activity was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification. If you are uncertain whether material on our platform infringes your copyright, we recommend consulting a qualified legal professional before submitting a notice.
